Aspiring teachers, take note! The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released a critical update regarding the 21st edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). Due to an unprecedented number of applicants—over 25 lakh candidates—the examination dates have been revised. Originally slated for a single day, the exam will now be conducted over two days: Saturday, February 7 and Sunday, February 8, 2026.
This eligibility test is the primary gateway for securing Sarkari Naukri in Central Government schools (KVS, NVS) and various State Government institutions.

🎓 Eligibility & Qualifying Standards
To achieve a successful Sarkari Result, candidates must meet the following criteria and scoring targets:

Paper 1 (Classes I-V): Senior Secondary (12th) with 50% marks + 2-year D.El.Ed (passed or appearing).

Paper 2 (Classes VI-VIII): Graduation with 50% marks + B.Ed or 2-year D.El.Ed (passed or appearing).

Qualifying Marks: * General Category: 60% (90/150 marks).

SC/ST/OBC/Differently Abled: 55% (82/150 marks).

Validity: The CTET certificate now holds Lifetime Validity.
📝 Important Exam Day Guidelines

Reporting Time: Candidates must reach the center at least 60 minutes before the start of the exam. No entry is permitted once the test begins.

Mandatory Documents: You must carry a printed Admit Card and an Original Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar, PAN, or Voter ID).

City Intimation: The Exam City Slip was released on January 23, 2026. Verify your allocated city at ctet.nic.in immediately.

Mode of Exam: The test will be conducted in Offline Mode (Pen-and-Paper) using OMR sheets.
