The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has officially opened the registration window for the Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) 2026. This national-level entrance exam is your gateway to over 150+ prestigious private engineering institutions across Karnataka.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) entrance test, candidates must meet the following prerequisites:

• Academic Qualification: Must have passed 10+2 / Higher Secondary or equivalent examination.

• Compulsory Subjects: Physics and Mathematics are mandatory, along with Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, or Electronics as one of the optional subjects.

• Minimum Marks: * General Category: Minimum 45% aggregate in PCM subjects.

  • SC/ST/OBC (Karnataka only): Minimum 40% aggregate in PCM subjects.

• Note: Candidates appearing for their Class 12 exams in 2026 are also eligible to apply. Diploma holders are not eligible for UGET as there are no lateral entry admissions through this exam.

📝 Selection Process & Exam Pattern

The selection is based entirely on the Computer Based Test (CBT) merit. There is no separate interview process.

• Mode of Exam: Online (Computer Based Test).

• Duration: 3 Hours.

• Total Questions: 180 (60 each for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics).

• Marking Scheme: +1 mark for every correct answer; No Negative Marking.

2. Fill Application: Log in and enter your personal, academic, and communication details.

4. Fee Payment: Pay the application fee online.

   • COMEDK UGET only: ₹1,950 + GST/Convenience charges.
